Duplex Apartment:

A Greek revival townhouse in Brooklyn Heights was renovated to create a duplex apartment for a married couple. The kitchen was created from a bathroom and opens up to the dining room. A curved island helps separate the two spaces. Although respectful to the original period interiors, the kitchen has a character of its own.

 

The spacious master bath has the original beams exposed at the ceiling and employs two matching antique brackets at the tub niche to compliment the beams.
